A story about the village of Wysoka in the Małopolska region. The film begins by evoking the inhabitants’ heroic resistance to the German army during World War II. Later, a voice-over narrates the most pressing current problems: access of local buses to the village, disputes over machines in the agricultural cooperative, and opinions about Edward Gierek’s government.
